Stage winner on the 3 Grands Tours!

After the disenchantment in Italy, Thibaut gets back in shape and finishes 3rd on le Tour de Pologne, his first race since the Giro. He then flies to Spain to tackle the Vuelta with a strong determination. The general classification is not the main target, and Thibaut manages to win the iconic stage of the Lakes of Covadonga ahead of all of the favorites. With this stage win, he is now part of the very elite club of the riders who have won on every Grand Tour. On the 19th stage, he goes solo with Simon Yates and gets his second win on top of Naturlandia. With two stage wins and a outstanding 6th place on the general classification, he completes a great Vuelta for the Groupama-FDJ team, which started with four days with the red jersey on Rudy Molard’s shoulders.
